A powerful new drug that has been linked to deaths in Alabama and Georgia continues to confront authorities. This drug, called “gray death,” contains a potent mix of opioids strong enough to kill in very small doses. The drug is gray in color and resembles concrete mixing powder. Its contents vary from batch to batch, but commonly include U-47700, heroin, fentanyl and fentanyl-like molecules. Georgia police have seized over 50 batches of this drug over the past four months, they described it as extremely toxic even in the smallest quantities. This has also appeared in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
