An ever growing trend seems to be in the news again: the use of vehicles in terroristic attacks. These attacks require extremely low amounts of organization and technological knowledge to carry out.

The latest attack has been carried out  in Stockholm, Sweden. At least three people were killed when a large truck carrying beer slammed into a department store. Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven is calling this instance a “terror attack.”

Along with the three deaths, Police say at least eight people were injured. After the incident, the suspect fled and has not yet been taken into custody.

The attack occurred around 3pm – the truck sped down a Stockholm street before hitting an Ahlens department store, and bursting into flames. This attack is the most significant attack that has occurred in Sweden since 2010.
